Dogtown has existed since the early 1970's. It was the birthplace of progressive skateboarding, Santa Monica/Venice, California. Site has product and company info, photos, galleries, and team profiles. Team includes Brian Patch and Matt Archbold.

This park is open to bladers boarders, but not bikers.Theris a 5 foot bowl,a 5 foot deck, 6 foot 8 inch qp.There is a spine a hip 4 rails and a wedge.It is 7.50 to get in.It is family owned and operated.They are now working on another 5 foot bowl.They are also working on two 4 foot halfepipes and a spine under an awning outside.

Vans Skateboard shoes have been in bussiness since the begining of skateboarding and they still make great shoes ant great prices.

The Pipeline Skate Park is located at 2400 Mendenhall Loop Road. The facility is located within the Jackie Renniger Park, which in the past has been called Bus Barn Park.

This park is the product of 15 months of fundraising and community organization that began in September 1996 with a Juneau/Douglas High School Phoenix Program project and is culminating with the construction of a 7500 square foot facility for skateboarding and in-line skating. Fundraising and organizing is ongoing through the "Skate Board" an advisory board to the Parks and Recreation Department. This spring and summer the site will be landscaped and an art/painting project will be organized.

The park is an unsupervised, self-policed park. Any users must abide by the rules of the park at all times.
